Between 2007 and 2010, I did a series of paintings titled Ancestral Ravens in an ACEO art-card format of 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". Ravens are smart, creative creatures, ever resourceful,up to about any challenge, and it was fun to envision a corvidae kingdom situated far, far away, beyond the stars, and even more fun to see it come together in this 2010 video.

Interesting effects can be achieved by using art, particularly themed art, as the basis for video. In the Ancestral Ravens video, for example, the range of raven occupations combines with strongly patterned transitions and ambiguous sound effects to generate the sense of an active and busy world.
